I am unable to enable tinker. I compiled tinker on a SGI IRIX64 box. It generated 53 executables with x extension. These are in ...../tinker/bin. I typed this full path into the edit form for enabling tinker and similarly for the params directory. it reports no errors, but just returns to the default /usr/local/tinker directories. I am pretty sure I got the path right as it very similar to that of gamess (gamess rather than tinker). I have looked at the perl and can not understand why no error message comes out in red. Does anyone have any ideas.

This is the result of a silly logical error in the file tinkermgr_admin.cgi. If you open this file, and go to around line 55. Change the lines,

}
else
{

to

}
if ($errorMsg eq "")
{

This should fix the problem!
