Is it possible to install and run WebMO Pro on a virtual RHEL box, run the Gaussian computations on real hardware and save the data files to that real hardware rather than back on the virtual machine?

It is certainly possible to run the serer on a virtual machine and the jobs on "real" hardware (via remote servers). The only challenge is, as you point out, with the storage.

In the latter case, I'm not sure if this is possible. It MAY be possible if you have a way of accessing "real" storage from the VM, e.g. from an NFS mount, or another mechanism. Alternatively, some VMs let you mount a physical (real) disk inside the VM.
