Hello,

We're experiencing an issue with the Build Molecule feature where the interface is not loading. We don't experience is issue on our previous version (17), as it's only on our new deployment.

Checking the web console on my browser I'm seeing

SyntaxError: missing ] after element list
note: [ opened at line 1, column 30

8B08E499E38CFAC9E32771A3D8C6F7BB.cache.js:17:120563

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

I seem to have resolved the issue by removing the .cache.js files from {htmlBase}/javascript/moledit_js/

Still unsure why this was happening. Any clues?

Bob,

This is likely due to a browser caching issue. I would recommend NOT deleting any files from that directory. Rather, reload the "Build" page with a "Ctrl + reload" (in Chrome) to clear the cache and force a hard refresh.

JR,

Understood. I haven't seen this issue crop up since initial testing however we've just received reports from two separate users experiencing the issue. Both have tried clearing their browser cache but no success in resolving the problem.

Any easy way to check for caching issues (I am certain this is) is to open an "Incognito" (private mode) window in Chrome. These will NOT use a prior cached copy under any circumstances. If this works, provide more detailed instructions on how to clear cache.

User has got back and tried using private mode but I'm afraid this hasn't had any success.
