Running webmo on a installation installed on my laptop works fine, but trying to use a remote installation (melbourne uni webmo) an error when trying to progress (clicking the right arrow) after building a molecule. I get a javascript error:

build_molecule.cgi, line 79
TypeError: 'undefined' is not a function (evaluating 'document.EditorApplet.isMoleculeSymmetrized()')

This seems to indicate communication problems between the js and java. What do you recommend? Again, this problem only occurs when trying to use a remote webmo server! Very strange!

I found the solution: clear java caches, reset java settings!

As you found, it seems the problem was that your browser did not download the updated version of the WebMO 12 Java applets, and was using the old version. Clearing the cache forced a download of the new (updated) applets.
