I used this last semester but forgot my password. My new professor said that he reset all of our passwords so we could log in with one that he gave us and then change it...but it won't let me log in at all.

You need to contact your local WebMO administrator, who can reset your password.

We have a class currently using WebMO - all local/WebMO authentication (no LDAP or other external auth), and a few of the students occasionally get locked out - apparently failing the password check. It is reproducible over short time frames, but not over long ones (it works later). Anyone seen anything like this ?
The passwords have not been changed by the students.

There is not auto lock out after failed PW attempts (perhaps there should be!). So this is not the cause.

Can you rule out typos?? Alternatively, if students are copy/pasting the passwords, watch for leading/trailing spaces -- this is a common problem.
