We are using webmo 4.0.008p with Gaussian 03.
The webmo server is a Mac running OS X.
About 10 separate times, the following has occurred:

1. A job that was queued starts normally,
starts showing "Running :10"

2. After a while, the job says "Running sec"
(no indication of an amount of time anymore)

3. The raw output from Gaussian shows the lines
"Killed // Killed" even though no one killed the job

4a. Often the following happens: while this
job is saying "Running sec", the daemon has
stopped, and other queued jobs are not running.

4b. A few times, the daemon has stayed running
and another job launches normally. So the
hung job still reads "Running sec" while
another job reads "Running 1:33"

4a is the real problem. If the job hangs and
Gaussian says "Killed // Killed" it's pretty
clear that no further progress will be made.
It's inconvenient for the rest of the
queue to have to wait for the sysadmin to
click on the kill button and then restart the
daemon.

Do you know why this happens or have any ideas
for how to further diagnose or fix it?

Thanks,
Andrew M. Rappe

P. S. For us, "move to head" does nothing.
"move to tail" does what we would expect;
demote a job to the end of the queue.
