We have set this to the value '1' but the Gaussian input files all have NProcShared=8 which is also the number of cores we have on a compute node. I was wondering what might have gone wrong here.

You can specify the requested number of cores in the 'Advanced Job Options' panel.

Note that this value will be overridden if it does not comply with the min/max limits set in the WebMO administrative setup ('Interface Manager', edit 'Gaussian').
