After submitting a job with Gamess it failed with message "Cannot execute /opt/gamess/gamess-20120807/: Permission denied"
My Gamess is here:
drwxr-xr-x 14 root gamess 4096 May 24 2013 gamess-20120807
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root gamess 22693 May 24 2013 rungms
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root gamess 48339167 Mar 21 2013 gamess.01.x
Inside Interface Manager:
GAMESS version May 01 2012
GAMESS directory /opt/gamess/gamess-20120807
GAMESS binary name (not path) gamess.01.x
Also if I use "Suggest" button it says:
"No Gamess installation found at specifed location"
Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks a lot!

Is there a ddikick.x in that directory too? I presume you are listing just the first few entries.
Also, check the permissions of the /opt/gamess directory as well. Make sure it is also readable.

There is no ddikick.x in this version of Gamess. I have left
Ddikick binary name (not path) blank

OK, if you have compiled a version of GAMESS without ddickic.x you will need to hand edit the GAMESS/WebMO configuration file (gamess.int) and the run_gamess.cgi script (see comment in the script).

I am trying to run GAMESS-2016 using WebMo. However, I get a message (see below)saying that "rungms.gms file not found". Trouble is that the 'rungms.gms' file is present. It follows the 'rungms.bat' file that the program recognizes.
My rungms.gms file contains the following:
Any help will be appreciated.
