Not really a bug, but not really a feature either:

If the job name field is updated at the 'preview input file' stage, those changes are not reflected in the name field of the job manager.

Perhaps this is true of basis set, etc.

The "Name" field and "Description" field in the Job Manager list comes from the data entered on the Job Options page. (They are not parsed from the input file.) If you want to change the job title on the Preview Input File page and you want that change to be reflected on the Job Manager, you need to hit the Back button of your browser, then make the change on the Job Options page, and then click the Submit Job link.

The "Preview Input File" is your chance to edit what WebMO has created for you prior to submitting it to the computational engine. The computational engine will respond to any changes that you make, which might then affect the parsing of the output.

Thus, changing the basis set on the Preview Input File will affect the job that is run. The new basis set will also show up on the View Job results page in the Route section. (The basis set does not show up on the Job Manager page.)
