Approach this in steps. Initially, do NOT select the option to store jobs in user home directories (and certainly do not make symlinks manually!). This is an excellent question. We'll take a look at what is going on. In the meantime, you can easily manually upgrade your WebMO install to WebMO 20 using the same instructions as used to upgrade the Cloud install to Pro/Enterprise. You should be able to access the WebMO install via your Windows machine UNLESS you are being blocked by your Linux machine's firewall. You may need to open the ports for HTTP or HTTPS to allow access. The details of how to do this will vary slightly based on your distro, but it should be easy to fin...
