Installed WebMO 23 upgrade, but when user tries to submit a job, nothing happens when the Continue arrow is clicked. Can build molecule, choose engine, choose Job Options, but Preview, Generate page is blank. The webmo user (frank) can run gaussian and mopac jobs in the ~/test directory. Local and active directory logins work. Users can open previous jobs normally. Webmo is installed on a 1-TB ssd, which is less than 25% full.
WebMO v 19 was working fine this AM with no errors, and now, after re-installing the backup ~/public_html and ~/webmo folders, it is working normally again.

This is almost certainly a JavaScript cache issue. Do a hard reload (Ctrl reload) in Chrome. Hopefully that does this trick.

OK, that works. Actually, it required clearing data on the settings menu of the browsers, both Firefox and Chrome. So webmo 23 was indeed working all along. Thanks, JR!

Browser Cache
Modern web browsers store ("cache") frequently accessed files locally for efficiency reasons. Sometimes browsers do not detect that those files have changed on the server, and the local cache needs to be manually emptied so that the latest version of the file is accessed. This frequently occurs with javascript and css files, which contain the code and formatting that underlie many web pages.
Thus it can be necessary that WebMO users must clear their web browser cache, particularly after updating WebMO which likely includes newer version of these types of files.
