WebMO Cloud
WebMO Cloud is a fully functional instance of WebMO running in the cloud that is customized for your institution and use. It is a subscription-based service that provides the hardware and software to run state-of-the-art computational chemistry jobs from within a web browser. WebMO Cloud is designed to support a wide range of teaching and research applications.
WebMO Cloud utilizes the concept of groups. For example, students in a course section form a group and the instructor is the group admin. Or research students form a group and their supervisor is the group admin. The WebMO Cloud administrator defines the available groups, and each group admin has control over their group.
Getting Started
After subscribing to and activating WebMO Cloud, you will be sent a URL and password to setup your instance:
- Cloud Setup: Set up your WebMO Cloud instance
Administrator Actions
The WebMO Cloud administrator is responsible for the overall structure and usage of your WebMO instance:
- Cloud Administrator: Configure your WebMO Cloud instance, create WebMO groups, and manage WebMO users and jobs
Group Admin Actions
WebMO Cloud group admins are typically instructors of separate courses, or supervisors of research groups:
- Cloud Group Admin: Add users, monitorg jobs
WebMO Cloud Users
WebMO Cloud users are typically students in a specific course, or members of a research group:
- Cloud Users: Run WebMO jobs and view results
